Users
What it is used for
The Users area is where managers and admins look after the team's access to OpusHub: who can sign in, which groups they belong to, what role they hold and (for kiosk users) what PIN they use.
Who can access it
The Users navigation is visible to Admin and Manager roles.
Step-by-step
- Select Users from the left navigation.
- Use search to find a user by name or email.
- Filter by group or role when the list is long.
- Select New User to invite or create a new user.
- Open a user row to view details, or change their role or groups.
- Use pagination when the list is longer than one page.
Invite a user
- Users > New User.
- Enter name, email and starting role.
- Add the user to one or more groups.
- Save. The new user receives an email to set their password.
Export and import users
- Use Export on the Users page to download the current list as a spreadsheet.
- Use Import to bulk-add or update users from a spreadsheet.
Kiosk PIN
Kiosk PINs are self-service — each user sets their own from **Profile
User Settings**. There is no action on the Users page to view or reset another user's PIN. See Kiosk mode for the full flow.
Important notes
- A user can belong to multiple groups. Group membership affects visibility of checklists assigned to those groups.
- Role affects what a user can see and do across the whole product. See Roles and permissions.
- Removing a user blocks their ability to sign in. Past activity (run completions, notes, assignments) is preserved.
- An organisation must always have at least one Admin — OpusHub won't let you remove the last one. Reassign the role to someone else first.
- Starter plan organisations are limited to 1 user. Upgrade to add more. See Plans and billing.
