FAQs

What is the difference between a template and an active run?

A template is the reusable design. An active run is one live instance of that template. See Checklists overview.

Does editing an active run change the template?

No. Edit this Instance changes only the active run. Edit this Template changes future runs. Use Push changes to active on the template to push a template edit to the currently open run.

Can I use OpusHub offline?

Active runs show offline and sync status. Edits made offline are queued and synced automatically when the device reconnects. OpusHub warns you before you leave a page with unsynced changes.

Why are some menu items missing?

Your role, permissions, organisation or subscription may not include those areas. Ask an admin to check.

What roles does OpusHub use?

Admin, Manager and Staff. See Roles and permissions.

What content can be assigned in Learning Centre?

Policy documents, procedure documents, company documents and learning modules. See Assignments.

Can notes include images?

Yes. Checklist notes and per-task notes support image uploads.

Who can close a checklist?

It depends on the template setting. A run can be configured so anyone can close it, or so only managers can. Closing a run does not send a notification to everyone with access — status is visible through dashboards and history instead.

Can a checklist have custom fields?

Yes. Templates can include any number of custom text fields. Custom fields can be required and visible by default on active runs. See Custom fields.

How does scheduling work for "every N months on the 1st"?

The first run lands on the first 1st-of-month on or after the start date, in your organisation timezone. Then every N months. See Scheduling for the full rules and examples.

Is there an AI assistant?

Yes, when enabled. The assistant answers questions using only your Learning Centre content and cites the documents it used. See AI assistant.

How do I sign in on a shared tablet?

Use your kiosk PIN. See Kiosk mode.

What plans are available?

Starter (free), Premium and Enterprise. See Plans and billing.

Where should screenshots be added?

Each page includes a screenshot placeholder admonition showing the recommended capture for that page.
